Plastering – appreciation and techniques
A five-day course (Monday to Friday) designed to hands on teach
the basic techniques of plastering.
Four days are intensive hands
on training.
The fifth day is free time to practice, with supervision,
your own preferred skill.
Each learner has his own 3 metre by 3 metre training bay for the
week.
Each training bay has:
- A blockwork wall with
piers for float and set plastering including forming internal
and external angles and beadwork.
- Plasterboard walls including
a window opening for skim coat plastering including external
angles, reveals and beadwork.
- Plasterboard ceiling for skim
coat plastering.

- How To Achieve Tidy And
Neat Edges On adjoining Walls And Ceilings
- How To Achieve Smooth
And Level Surface Finishes
- How To Repair Damaged Plasterwork
- Training course fee £350.00 plus V.A.T (£411.25
in total).
